Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your web browser by a website you visit. A cookie file is stored in your web browser and allows the service or a third-party to recognize you and make your next visit easier and the service more useful to you.

How RepoFlux Uses Cookies

RepoFlux is a zero-backend application and does not use traditional HTTP cookies for tracking or authentication.

Instead, we use Browser Local Storage and Session Storage to store your configuration and authentication tokens locally on your device. Specifically:

  • github_pat: Stores your GitHub Personal Access Token to authenticate API calls.
  • repoflux_config: Stores your UI preferences and state configuration.
  • repoflux_ratelimit: Stores cached API usage metrics to prevent over-consumption.

Your Choices Regarding Cookies/Storage

If you'd like to delete these local data points, you can use your browser's "Clear Site Data" feature or specifically clear local storage for repoflux.oriz.in.

Third-Party Cookies

We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. However, if you are logged into GitHub, they may set their own cookies according to their policy.
